National Cancer Institute Gets an “A” on Mesothelioma Research

national-cancer-instituteThe National Cancer Institute seems to be the first to link vitamin A to prevention or aid in treating Mesothelioma. Additional studies were done more recently by the American Health Foundation and an Australian team.

The research suggests that an increase in vitamin A may decrease the risk of Mesothelioma. The original study focused on the diet of people with and people without Mesothelioma. The group that ate fewer vegetables high in vitamin A showed a higher incidence of Mesothelioma.  A for the National Cancer Institute and vitamin A for Mesothelioma suffers.
