State Police are investigating an Interstate 95 chain-reaction crash that killed a Maryland trucker and shut down the interstate for eight hours. The driver of the 18-wheeler tractor-trailer rig crashed into the rear of a sport utility vehicle resulting in a chain-reaction involving a total of six vehicles.
State Police say the accident occurred as the Department of Transportation crew was picking up from an overnight project and traffic was reduced to one lane.
