The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Department has announced that a 52-year-old man was pronounced dead en route to the DeQuincy Hospital after an oil rig accident.
The man was loading oil field equipment at a La. Highway 12 site. He was injured when equipment shifted and fell on him.
