Parents Have One Less Things to Worry About

Major baby bottle manufacturers have agree to stop selling bottles made with the chemical bisphenol, commonly known as BPA.  Due to pressure from health advocates and various state attorneys general, these manufacturers have finally done the right thing to protect the health of babies across the country against dangerous products.

Playtex, Gerber, Evenflo, Avent America, Dr. Brown and Disney First Years should be commended for voluntarily agreeing to stop selling bottles contaminated with BPA, which has been linked to a range of health problems including heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

These bottle manufacturers join Sunoco who last year became the first manufacturer to acknowledge the safety concerns and banned BPA products for infants.

Major retailers Wal-Mart and Toys-R-Us have already removed BPA containing products from their shelves.
