FATAL to your workers comp claim that is. Report your work injury! I cannot stress the importance of this simple fact. Countless injuries at work are never reported and unfortunately some of these injuries turn out to be life changing. If you injure yourself at work in any way, stubbed toe, scratch on finger, strained back, anything that could possibly happen on the job, report it. Do not even think twice about it. Sure, it might seem like a minor injury and the other guys at work might rag you for reporting such a minor thing. But, if you report it you will have a better chance of receiving the workers comp benefits that you are entitled to. Don’t give the workers comp insurance company any reason to deny your claim. Give yourself a fighting chance in the miserable world of workers comp.
