An 18-wheeler and a Dodge truck collided eastbound on Interstate 20 near the Texas line in Caddo Parish. Police expect the at least one lane to remain closed for several hours.
The wreck occurred around 3:30 p.m. today just west of mile marker 1. Three were seriously injured. The impact caused the pick-up truck to burst into flames, the driver and two passengers were rescued from the burning vehicle by the driver of the 18-wheeler and two other motorists. The three were rushed to local hospitals.
